Faust, Gong, The Velvet Underground (Squeeze and the reunion live album), The Beach Boys, Amon Duul II. The Boredoms, Pere Ubu, Neu!, Can, Zappa/Mothers, Wire, Stooges (oh god even they foolishly came back), Panasonic, Van Dyke Parks, Bowie, Bowie and Bowie, T.Rex, Beefheart Magic Band, Lou Reed, Todd Rundgren, The Residents, The Soft Machine, Talking Heads, Henry Cow, Kraftwerk, Eno, Dylan, Ween, Robert Wyatt, DAF, Einsturzende, Der Plan, John Fahey, Ornette Coleman, Beck, John Cale, Cluster, Terry Riley, DNA. Exceptions:

Egg, Television, The Red Krayola (kept on with a 90's gap in the middle), Matching Mole, Naked City, Pain Killer, La Monte Young, Eric Dolphy, Mars.

Bands/artists who kept/keep coming in and out of the focus zone:

Alan Jackson - the cutoff point being his album "Under The Influence" from 1999. Enjoy that album and everything prior to it, but the later material from 2000 onward has been awful due to the modern country direction of the material.

Alan's last enjoyable album, "Under The Influence"
