I figured Andrew might've thought Aerosmith's "Dream On" was Nazareth, but it turns out Nazareth did a song by that title, too!

And it got to #1 in Poland - can't top that! :D

Couldn’t get past the first page, but it’s already turned into any band with more than one hit.

Todd Rundgren--Hello It's Me and Bang the Drum All Day

I would say Hello It's Me is his signature song and my brother would say Bang the Drum All Day is, hence me using them for this thread lol.

I agree 'Hair Of The Dog' is another good candidate as signature song.
Btw, I had a Greatest Hits reissue CD which contained two bonus tracks, one of them was 'Dream On'. Actually: the song was originally on Greatest Hits Volume 2.^^

I would say "Crazy On You" and "Alone" could easily knock either or both of those songs out of the ring as contenders.

Stones, Elvis and Beatles have a lot of immediately recognizable ones but if just 2 for Stones it's Satisfaction and Start Me Up.

I looked at one of the set list sites because I was curious and their 4 most played live songs on the site over the years were Jumpin' Jack Flash, Brown Sugar, Honky Tonk Women and Tumbling Dice. Satisfaction was 5 and Start Me up was 6.

You think those are the only Stones songs that are "immediately recognizable"? Really?

I would say Runnin' With The Devil is more popular than Ain't Talking About Love.

Their second highest charting single after Jump is Why Can't This Be Love?
