You could throw Crazy On You in there too.

I'm not too sure about this signature song thing.

Spotify streams bring the answer for all artists.

I guess the Stones 'win' there as their Top 5 songs are separated by less than 20%, pretty much equally big each.

They are their 1st, 3rd and 4th most played songs. The 2nd is Thunderstruck.

Wasn't that the Windows 95 signature song?

I have to disagree. Some plays:

    Johnny - 47 million
You Never Can Tell - 28m
    Run Rudolph Run - 25m
    ...
    ...
Rock And Roll Music - 2,8m

I can't remember these two songs so quickly though. Even 'Sweet Little Sixteen' can be his signature song, or 'Maybellene'.
Anyway, I think I will stop writing more suggestions here. I seem to be mostly wrong about my picks anyway.

Stupid question: Does one need a Spotify account to see what the most streamed songs are for any given artist, or is there a place anybody can access this information?

"Heart" kind-of had 2 incarnations, not counting the 2000's. I think the 70's one is spot on, but they also had huge hits in the 80's. Maybe "Alone and What about Love?"

    Where's @Bobby Morrow ?
How about "I Honestly Love You and Physical" by Olivia Newton-John.

I Honestly Love You, sung during the Physical tour.

I think a lot of these artists have ONE signature song. Then there are artists that don't quite have that ONE so it might be TWO. Then there are those that don't have a signature song but a lot of well known tunes.
You can mention 10 Chuck Berry classics but Johnny B. Goode is the signature song. No matter how much you like Space Truckin' Smoke On The Water is Deep Purple's signature song. Even if you think there are 20 greater Zeppelin songs...nevermind.

Yeah it's probably easier to name just one for some acts.
Naming 2 is hard because you then have a third or fourth that challenges the second one.
As for the word signature, most people only have one signature or possibly two if it changed over time as happens with many autographs.
So naming a bunch of signature songs is crazy cause it defeats the purpose or definition of the word.
