  1. I'd go with Evil Ways and Black Magic Woman.

The first thing I think of is "Help Me," however as a songwriter, these two might be her signature songs because they have been covered numerous times.

Stevie Nicks songs, "Landslide" and "Rhiannon." Both recorded by Fleetwood Mac, and herself as a solo artist. Does she really have a signature song from her 80's-90's solo career? Maybe "Edge of Seventeen?"

With Fleetwood Mac Stevie's would be
    Dreams and Rhiannon
As for solo then Edge of 17 and maybe Stand Back.
But if you count duets then Stop Dragin My Heart Around and Leather and Lace.

    For sure.
I remember back in the 90s my buddy's brother referenced Golden Earring as a One Hit Wonder.
My buddy reminded him of Twilight Zone and his brother was like No that song wasn't even big that doesn't count.
Of course by buddy and I grew up watching Mtv in the early 80s and his older brother was a 70s radio guy.
To him Twilight Zone was nothing because the video that we say a million times over meant nothing to him or that it cracked the U.S. top 10.

Hmm, I would have definitely said Crazy On You and Magic Man (or Alone) but maybe it varies depending on where one lives.

I'd probably put I Was Made For Lovin' You above each of those songs except for Rock and Roll All Night (in terms of popularity/exposure).

Santana= "Evil Ways" equal to the other two
    Skynyrd= yep.
ZZ Top= "Gimme All Your Lovin'", "Sharped Dressed Man" over "Jesus"
Steely Dan= "Do It Again", "Josie", "Peg" over "Charlemange"
Doobies - "Takin' It To The Streets", "Long Train Runnin", "Listen To The Music", "What A Fool Believes" over "Jesus".

The Rolling Stones are an interesting case. I think you'll get different answers depending on age, and hobbies. I'm 20, but Satisfaction was always the song I knew was The Stones and loved. I think most people here would say it's definitely THE song we can agree upon. However, go to YouTube and search the band name, and you'll see the Stones songs with most views on a single video are Paint it Black and Sympathy for the Devil. If you read the comments, you'll also see a lot of, "Black Ops brought me here," and, "Who else is here because of Call of Duty?" Those two games have really bolstered the popularity and recognition of those two songs. Paint it Black has 16 million more views than Sympathy, and 20 million more than Satisfaction. Oddly, Gimme Shelter only has 2.5 million views on the official page. The Paint it Black video that came up, btw, was an official video with 41 million views. An unofficial video has 50 million. It's far and away the most popular Stones song on YouTube.

Love PVS, but "Clarksville" is more signature.

By a LONG shot. So has "Baba O'Reilly". And "Pinball Wizard".

These guys don't get to be in the club. One must have something to sign upon before one can have a 'signature' tune.

Good example and for her lifelong fans is spot on. For the public though those Grease tracks have become legendary along with the movie. Sadly, I Honestly Love You doesn't seem to get the plays anymore but Physical gets used in commercials and spoofs. Magic has proven to have legs too.
