Noticed today my local Asda in the North West are selling vinyl, the titles on offer are pretty much the same as Tesco and Sainsburys but it's a start.

I noticed on Twitter many people posted releases of older titles for £5.99. One had Roy Orbison on the cover, I think one was 50s songs, 60s songs, disco songs, country songs. Obviously those that are beyond the 50 year rule in Europe and are in the public domain but I wouldn't have minded picking some of them up. None of my local Asdas sell vinyl.

It could be one of those catalogue releases. The one that had Roy Orbison on the front I think was a collection of 50's songs so it maybe only had 1 Roy Orbison song on it but I could see a Bob Dylan album on it, I know it's what many people would call a bootleg but in the UK it's OK to release this stuff. I wouldn't mind picking up some of those releases if my local Asdas sold them.
