AT440MLB and VM540ML Right Channel Crackle / Increased Surface Noise

    No definitely seems it was a quality control issue with multiple styli. I suppose you could say the Rega is a bit more sensitive to QC issues in the cartridge you pair it with due to the lack of adjustment. Pretty happy now though!

    No pain, no gain eh? Regas are so simple that little can go wrong and are easy to repair if you're unlucky and it does. Stick with it, you'll not regret it.
