Atom Heart Mother

    I have the original 1985 CD and was wondering if the latest EMI Remaster is a significant upgrade in sound. (I am not going to even try to get the MFSL version off of EBAY because I want it in my hands today!)

    Is this the version that was cut from the quad master, with 2 of the channels simply missing?

    I bought this CD back in '87 or so, and man was I pissed off when I heard it.

    From what I understand of this particular PF album the MFSL is the only way to go.

    I am not aware of any new remasters from Floyd unless it's Echos.

    Are you sure it's not just new packaging - like on Wish You Were Here?

    I am referring to the 1995 remasters (although AMG lists a 2001 remaster). I love AHM but since the MFSL version goes for $50 on Ebay, I am not sure I love it <i>that</i> much.
