Audio component repair in San Jose area

Can anyone recommend an audio repair or modification shop in the San Jose, CA area? Thank you.

Go with SerTech Electronics, 5725 Winfield Blvd, San Jose, CA 95123. Whatever you take in (unless it's speakers) will most likely take 3 weeks to be fixed, but the guy does great work. It takes that much time because it's the only place in San Jose and he's busy as hell. He refurbed my vintage Concept 2QD turntable; he also replaced the woofers in my vintage speakers as well (that only took a few days as he has a "speaker" guy work on those). Highly recommended. The have a website, but you're not going to learn much from it. Just search online to find their hours -- and then just take your equipment in, and they'll take care of you.

 

This is good to know as I recently inherited a pair of Altec Valencia's that I'm thinking about having someone take a look at and recapping them etc.
