Audio technica ' LP Gear ATN95SA stylus '

Hi Everyone

I have a Thorens 240-2 turntable and i would

like to upgrade the stylus to a Shibata Diamond cut.

LP Gear ATN95SA stylus

Or maybe to this little number I found on Ebay the '95p ' Paratrace.

The '95P' Paratrace Upgrade Stylus Assembly for the AT-95E, AT95E MM Cartridge .

Has anyone used any of these before, if so what are they like ?

The Paratrace will smoke the LP Gear Shibata. That Paratrace is a Expert Stylus Company line contact tip, similar to the old Stanton Stereohedron II in nature, and an Expert Stylus Company retip job, Wyndham Hobson's work is superb. Do remember it will like a bit lower mass tonearm than a stock AT95e does to function best. For my money, I'd go to the new VM platform for high end styli, that platform is what Audio-Technica is offering their genuine offerings on.
