B&W DM?

Hi all,

Does anybody know which type of B&W speaker this is? On the back it only says B&W DM. I like to get some more info on these, before maybe buying them. Are they any good?

 

I believe it's the DM100 an early predecessor to the DM110.
If they are any good? Well that depends on what your ears like. B&W has always more or less made good value and sounding speakers.
My own road to the Hifi jungle started with a pair of DM501 very similar speaker.

I had a pair of those when I was in the Air Force. I took them to Alaska and used them with a Denon intergraded. It was good for dorm use, probably the the best speaker I owned up to that time.

 

DM 100s were One of the first good budget speakers I heard in the UK. First made around 1985.

 

Ah, DM 100s! Thanx for helping me out. Maybe I should give them a change and see how they sound.
