Very interesting point; I wonder whether Wings Greatest suffered as a result of the considerable sales that WOA achieved ?

Also it would surely have been more successful had Paul been on tour.

Still it is a strange enigma of an album sales wise.

Unfortunately I got extremely busy with studying and moved house at the same time my Mother fell very ill so I just haven’t had any spare time but I will have more soon and I can’t wait to try and catch up even though it will mean some marathon all nighters haha!

i hope Memory Almost Full is in the cards for this treatment. Just got Chaos and New in the mail and they're lovely.

 

I picked up Wings Greatest. Haven’t listened to this album in years. Unfortunately, the LP is defective. Side 1 has visible marks that causes a lot of ticking. The LP is housed in a thick cardboard inner sleeve, which certainly doesn’t help. This copy is going back.

 

Just get the CD.

 

Think it's pretty clear he wants the vinyl.

 

I can sympathize with all the complaints regarding scratches on NEW vinyl records. They should be in new condition, not used when taking them out of the shrink.

I wasn’t asking for advice anyway.

 

I picked up all four black vinyl titles. Everything was perfect except for a huge scratch across side one of Thrillington. I returned it and just got a flawless replacement copy yesterday. Very happy with these, except for the skimpy pared down artwork for New, which looks so cheap next to the original's elaborate packaging.

 

The vinyl mastering on Wings Greatest blows the original US version to bits. I'm highly anticipating London Town now based on "With a Little Luck," which is like buttah
