It was definitely repeated in Australia probably around '77 when I was first starting to transition from the The Beatles cartoons to the real Beatles. Even as a nine year old I knew it wasn't very good but I still loved seeing a Beatle on TV. The Ringo special aired the following year I think. I was excited about that because George was in it. It would have been funny if George made a guest appearance in James Paul McCartney as well :D Soon after these were on Tv out here I remember seeing Wings Over The World (a really big deal at the time) and Let It Be on tv here also not long after.

good news! looks like the udiscovermusic orders will be fulfilled after all. The links on paulmccartney.com are working now and they lead you to the udiscover store, for individual colored LPs as well as the bundle. I've already cancelled my netherlands site order.

Edit: I swear I saw them at $30 USD, they're now $35. Bundle also went up from $240 to $248

Now back up on the UK Udiscover site and the sister site Sound Of Vinyl. £26.00 each + p&p and the full bundle for £208 + p&p
Sound of vinyl has a 10% voucher on the go just now: SOVMESSENGER

    ...comes to £187.20 + £6.95 p&p = £194.15

I hear there's slightly different EQ between the two - better be on the safe side and get both.

Can't deal with the prices on the colored vinyl. You can get the standard black vinyl on DeepDiscount for 13 bucks and some change if you use their 15% coupon.

RRS and LT were never going to be part of this campaign, having not (yet!) had an Archive release. This campaign just gets the previously Archived albums (minus Wings Over America) out there with a Capitol label.

UDiscover Music in the UK now have the coloured vinyl and black vinyl. The coloured bundles are now showing sold out as are the coloured vinyl debut, Ram Band and Venus.
Interesting that the sold out ones are the earlier albums perhaps that might tell MPL something such as it really is nearly all over.
Just my thoughts but I would bet Wild Life and Red Rose Speedway would outsell anything post McCartney 2.

UK Sound of Vinyl appears to be selling out fast on the coloured vinyl:

McCartney, Ram, Band on the Run, Venus & Mars all say Sold Out.

I've just gone for Speed of Sound, McCartney II, and Tug of War - after discount paid £23.40 each

It's back up on that Canadian site as well. Code WELCOME (all caps yes) will get you $45 off to make it just about $200 including shipping to the US.
