I also got some sort of shipping notice from UPS today but not sure who the shipper is? It says it's from THE GRIM REAPER ... I have no idea who that is. ... Oh well ... ;)

    That sounds right. Thanks.

  4. Sounds like The Grim Reaper is getting lazy, expecting his clients to do his work for him. I suggest you return the package unopened, when it arrives.

    I just got an updated notice. It's for a pick-up; not a delivery ... ;)

I know what I'll be singing when the grim reaper comes to my door...

"Someone's knocking at the door, somebody's ringing the bell..." ;)

And based on my behavior on Earth, I know what song that I'll be singing, or really humming, as the song doesn't have words:

    ;)

I have no clue if I'll actually receive the color vinyl bundle
The notice I received said it was delivered on Monday...it wasn't. And that it was delivered on Monday to Philadelphia...I am 500 miles away near Boston. Awesome.
So, I bought the black vinyl McCartney album. It's wonderful.
And how about that sheet of extra photos and lyrics?
Do any of the other Archive albums have an extra that wasn't included in the original release, like the McCartney album?

Ram also has a two sided lyric, pic insert.
Band on the run is just exact replica sleeve and poster
And those 2 and McCartney are the only three I opened so far

For those who wanted to see the labels on these reissues, I have scanned examples of each. Here they are:

Regarding the label images I posted above, Tug Of War is the only album where the label design varies on each side (red on one side, blue on the other). Also, my copy of Ram has a distinctly green colored vinyl, not yellow as advertised. (The scan does a good job showing the shade of yellow-green that the vinyl is.) I'm not really complaining, but since it's kind of an interesting color for a record. Also, the "clear" vinyl for McCartney II isn't really transparent clear. It's kind of a "dishwater" grey that is semi-transparent.

Wow, they look really nice! Does anyone know the typefont that McCARTNEY II is written in? I used to have it, but I forgot the name of it.

My coloured bundle has now shipped from Sound Of Vinyl UK, so looks like the EU stock has arrived :)

Would’ve loved replicas of the original labels for these releases (Tug Of War labels could’ve easily been copied minus the Parlophone logo so goodness knows why they chose such an ugly design here)
Hopefully the japanese mini lp cds coming out next month will be better....

Not sure if we've had any UK posters actually receiving the coloured vinyl yet - my first order from UK Sound of Vinyl (Speed of Sound, Tug of War and McCartney II) has just arrived safe and sound, perfectly sealed, no dings.

A question for us all - I notice that the sleeve spines have one serial no. whereas the front sleeve 'Limited Edition' stickers have a lightly different one. Do I assume that the correct serial no. for the coloured vinyl versions is the one on the sticker label, not the spine (I wouldn't expect a separate cover print) ?

Very happy though - now waiting for McCartney, RAM, and V&M....
