Thanks for sharing. I don't want to sound rude, but it's not the most flattering picture of Pete. Makes me wonder if it was taken to finish off the roll. Remember when we had to do that?
I just posted that it was a good photo although Pete looks tired. What does finishing off the role mean?
It should be roll instead of role. It's when your camera had one or two photos left on the film roll and you wanted to get it developed, so you wasted those last two shots on something. In our case, we usually finished rolls with pictures of the dog or cat.
Supposedly Pete Ham didn't partake. On the other Tom Evans mighta been. I think Pete was just looking down.

This has always been in my top ten favorite Badfinger songs. Amazing! The keyboard track is haunting. Its Pete on keyboards, yeah? On Straight Up, Nicky Hopkins and Leon Russell were brought in on the sessions and it was never clear to me who played piano on Name of the Game.
Would be fun to see a separate badfinger Rarities or Boxset treatment one day, maybe there are some alternate takes, and demos tucked away be interesting to hear.
