Kerrs Pink has yet to be mentioned. I'd recommend "A Journey on the Inside" but it seems most prog fans go for their older albums which I haven't heard yet. I like White Willow too (was previously mentioned).

Along with West Coast, left-field country rock (67-75) ;) , one of my other passions is following Norwegian football ("soccer" for our US members) which lead to me eventually hoping over the North Sea and investigating further. My first game was an exciting 2-1 win for Haugesund over the catchily named Strømsgodset (who tonight, as I type, have just achieved a wonderful 3-0 away win against Debrecen of Hungary in the Europa League qualifiers....) Ok, ok... the music...

Of course any trip to another city / country should include an investigation of the local record shops and I duly returned home with a bunch of CDs and new artists to investigate. The Norwegians love their music and there's many potential scenes to delve into. There is a big metal scene, though I was drawn to the more acoustically based acts. Here's a few that to me have real lasting power and no little talent. I've not included the likes of Sondre Lerche who is quite well known abroad and those previously mentioned already in posts:

Vidar Vang: a singer songwriter who has developed with each release from an acoustic troubadour to an excellent soundscape creator. Here's two videos that show the change:

Steinar Albrigtsen is one of the well established figures on the Norwegian acoustic scene. Here he is on a live duet with Monika Nordli on American Tom Pacheco's lovely A Million Stars. Steinar has been very helpful in Tom building a strong following in Norway and they've recorded two fine albums of Tom's songs together.

Jim Stärk are a band that I play on a regular basis. Not well-served on YouTube , they are worthy of your time.

Funny how nobody has mentioned these fellas yet. ;)

GAZPACHO! From what is arguably their best album 'Tick Tock' from 2009, here is Part 2 of their 3 Part epic title track.

I've nattered on about them before, but Kvelertak are just the best blackened-punk/metal band going, for my two cents.

And here is another of their great exports, a man with one of the finest Hard Rock/Metal vocals over the past 20 years, Mister Jorn Lande. Here is a song he dedicated to one of his heroes, the late, great Ronnie James Dio.
