Bands with all living original members that you want to reunite

I'll start with Talking Heads. They sounded great at their induction into the RARHOF. But that was17 years ago already! I would still pay to see them live.

 

The Smiths. And there's a big fat zero chance of it happening.

 

XTC, though that will never happen either.

 

Genesis... except Phil and Steve weren't "original members".

 

The Police could still draw a crowd I suspect.

I don't like reunions, especially not when they go on tour and perform on stage. What is the point of a bunch of old men getting together again and pretending to be something they aren't anymore? Most of them also only do it for the money (Sex Pistols et al), which is just pathetic.

 

I agree with this post almost whole heartedly except I don't know who Burning Tree is and I don't care for Marillion. Otherwise, A+

It's really too bad, I don't know about the rhythm section, but just saw Johnny Marr and he was on fire! Morrissey sings better now than when he was in the Smiths. But of course, there's that unfathomable gulf between them.

 

I used to wish for Van Halen to reform (or play again with Wolfgang),
but I don't care anymore, and it looks like they're all through anyway except for giving the official "we've retired" notice.

Well, The Cure are active but a short reunion with the original members Smith/Tulhurst/Dempsey would be nice (but, of course, impossible).

I know Davies and Hodgson had some grief, but a proper Supertramp tour would be cool. Also unlikely though
