I was just looking at the "which Darren do you prefer" thread, which seems to have turned into the "Post a hot pic of Elizabeth Montgomery" thread, and I thought in order to balance out memories of my childhood tv experience, we should have a Barbara Eden thread.

So here you go, just for FUN

 

A favorite Barbara Eden moment for me is when she stepped off the bus at Mayberry to work as manicurist in Floyd's barbershop. Mayberry would have had an awful crime spree with Barney and Andy getting their nails done everyday. Fortunately for the citizens, she didn't stay in business long.

She was a great looking lady for sure.

I looked at a couple of recent pictures of her over at IMDB and it looks like she's had some plastic surgery. With that in mind, she still looks great for her age.

I had a young boy crush on her for sure. Shes one of Hollywoods most beautiful ever me thinks. Love that nice figure too, something that seems to have gone by the wayside these days in favor of the heroin thin look.

I can still remember talking with elementary school classmates, wishing I could be stuck in that bottle with her for a thousand years.

 

In that pic above, they must have gotten a lookalike. The green one doesn't look like her..... besides, the tech wasn't that good in those days that they could have had her play herself so close together.

Samantha or Jeannie?

 

It's worth noting that she started as a beauty contest winner. Shortly after she was signed to a movie studio contract, the studio re-named her "Eden"(previously, she was named Barbara Huffman)

 

I'd agree with this. Both are very good looking and a better platform for debate.

ROFLMAO! To be honest, that was the first thing I noticed but I didn't know if it was OK to mention it on a family forum. But for the rest of my life, everytime Jeannie or Barbara is mentioned I'll always remember that pic and your comment! Sorta like Sam Kinison's alphabet skit!

 

And to think she was once married to Klingon Commander Kang.
