I just bought two of these at Walmart for 84 cents each. Does anyone know if the batmobile that comes with the box set is the same thing or if there's anything special about it?

I picked up the "deluxe" one. The box without the extras was the same price. Thanks Black Friday. I'm assuming once I get it, I'll have to request the replacement disc? Or have the sets been fixed?

I can still remember the night it premiered on TV! loved the colors on our new COLOR TV! they popped...

That scored BIG points with the company by doing that. Showed they were not to big to admit they made a mistake and actually listened to the public.

My first exposure was not in color but B/W. I had a classmate in the 2nd grade who became VERY popular due to her family having a color TV. I remember the first time seeing the show in color...blew me away. Can't wait to upgrade my panel to truly appreciate seeing the colors pop on the Blu Ray discs.

I didn't get an email. I need to go and check my settings. I have the app on my phone as well and I never get a notification of gold box deals or anything like that.

I have a Prime account too!

Does season 1 have to have a disc replaced? I picked that up on Black Friday on DVD.

    Thanks

To my knowledge, only the Blu Ray set had issues.

My box arrived today. I would like to thank the orangutan with anger issues who boxed it up. The gouges, rips and creases were a nice touch! :realmad:

Amazon is sending a replacement but they are out of stock until next week.

    Sorry to hear that!

    :tsk:

I would like to know why it's difficult to package at Amazon, how are these folks trained???

An for as much coin being spent on boxset or vinyl by the public, you would think they could Minimize the problems, I mean you have to spend $ to re-ship replacements out, and you are trying to get consumers to subscribe anyways to these "Prime" deals online too??

I almost think that the box I received was returned and re-shrinked. The product info sleeve that covers the back was upside down and crushed but not in the same places as the actual box. The rips were on the seams at the top and bottom of the large left flap. It is as if someone carelessly opened the package. I also examined all the discs and found fingerprints. There was also a secondary barcode covering the actual manufacturer's UPC code.

was this purchased direct from Amazon?...the secondary barcode sticker usually means a third party seller having Amazon ship the product for them...
