BBC One to adapt H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds Mini-Series

Glad to hear it's not a modern take again. This should be interesting actually having this set around the times Wells published his classic tale.

This looks promising.

 

Why, oh why, didn't Spielberg go this route with his remake? That could have been quite special. Though I do like the Tom Cruise flick well enough it does have its problems.

 

A full on Spielberg production, with some of the Jeff Wayne tracks in there, would be awesome. I'm really looking forward to seeing this though.

 

Think it's already started in parts of the world. Looks like it doesn't premiere in Australia till next month.
