Me too! They’re important to reduce moisture inside the box. In humid parts of the world the interior may develop mold or mildew without them.

LOL, you guys are cracking me up with your silica packs. Personally, I have all the boxes from my box sets from various bands, on display, but I prefer the records themselves just be in my library with everything else, in alphabetical and chronological order, etc. Not a big fan of keeping them in the box, but that's just me.

I just did an actual comparison of the USB stick and the 78 WA (white vinyl, both stereo obv.) I just wanted to update whoever was interested that the audio is practically the same. Must be the tape. The audio is slightly narrowed, that's about it. DMM reigns supreme.

Alas the buyer picked it up. Still no box for me. The search continues.

My box came with the little silica packs - 2 of them - which are there for exactly that purpose..

No worries - I see them pop up all the time. You shall find it if you're patient. In the meantime - they are all over the internet - I'm sure someone can needledrop one :)

Sunrise stores in Ontario has some. Any maybe Kops Records in Toronto Ontario might. There was one on Bloor for the longest time but it closed down. If may have moved it's stock to it's other locations.

Best thing to do is have a forum member grab it for you and ship it.

The kops in oshawa does not have it. I was in the sunrise in upper canada mall in new market and they had one but the outer cover was not in good shape.

Mucho confusion regarding those white vinyl WA's courtesy of Discogs.

The 1978 releases, both UK and German, are lacquer cuts.
The later 1985 German edition is DMM.

I think it was for $479 (about 355 usd). At least that was the price i paid for it at another location a few weeks ago

Sorry I meant the UK 78 WA = the sonics of the USB (Apple). A little boomier but silly close in overall tone.

The 1985 DMM is airy, energetic, a little bright without being overly so. I can't say it enough - this is the version.
