"Rather than, your example suggesting, the history of the formation of US government."....where did I suggest that?

    In this podcast:

Things We Said Today #252 - Mark Lewisohn!

he says he doesn't think Volume 2 will come out by (his previously announced) target date of 2020.

And Volume 3 is ten years away at least.....

If you're looking at your phone, the post count only magically appears if you turn the phone horizontally (at least for me).

Dunno, you're quoting me, the example I used (openly stating it was in the vein of your own, not mentioned here) to illustrate a point. That's it though? What about the rest of it, mister??

So uh. Where is this going? You gonna correct Lewisohn on his use of the word biography, or what? :)

I'm going to write a biography of this thread. First question is to me: Why are you bothering with this? :D

    Your first sentence is incomprehensible.

Lewisohn has said the website is not written by him and exists, principally, for people to get in touch with him, er, mister.

    Vol 2.
Is it clear via Mark when that volume ends, ie; 1966 /summer or
    1967 summer ?

He also responds to a question about that in this podcast:

Things We Said Today #252 - Mark Lewisohn!

....but I can't remember what his answer was....sorry (a bit of a late one last night)

Ending it new years eve 66 will give it a “similar” ending to vol 1 in respect to having recorded something groundbreaking that will be released and discussed the following year.

So in that respect it would make sense.

  16. If you are reading this forum on a mobile device, you may need to rotate your screen horizontally to view the post count. That works for me on my iPhone in Safari.

  17. It is also in ‘The Beatles, Lennon, and Me’ by Pete Shotton and Nicholas Schaffner.

Just be sure to wash your hands when you are done though.

*note - Lewisohn documents no hand washing after Beatle circular pleasure sessions. As his research is renowned to be exhaustive, this indicates hand washing likely never occurred.

They didn't have running water in Liverpool until 1966.
