More signs that the remasters next year are a true possibility.

You mean they have very old stock or they are making new longboxes?

They seem to often have special long boxes made just for them (or at least not widely available). I bought some of the Seinfeld DVDs there and they had a long box over the regular box. I didn't see the long boxes anywhere else. I wonder if the same is true with these Beatles CDs.

Costco sells all their CDs in longboxes. Usually they are just generic boxes, but some of the time they're special boxes with a picture of the album or full graphics like The Rising. This is a scan of the front and back cover....

Most are in a color printed long box. Probably recently printed. Some just have a plain white long box with a clear cellophane opening for the CD.

Just came back from Costco at lunch and they have started to expand their music section for Christmas season. Sony 2-CD Essentials are $14.99 (picked up the new Roy Orbison). Also they had the James Brown - Star Time 4 CD box for $24.99
