Beatles 2014 mono LPs going out of print...*

Anyone aware of an Acoustic Sounds discount code?

 

The current one is 10%. They bounce between 15 and 20% on most long weekends.

 

Well that would be enough to knock it down to 300. I don’t see any disclaimer about it being exempt from discount offers.

 

I got just the Stereo titles I wanted, didn't feel the need to have all the titles in both mono and stereo.
If you order from Amazon in the UK, the EU copies are pressed at Optimal in Germany,
instead of the USA versions from Rainbo. Personally I didn't have any quality issues
with the Stereo titles that some did. A couple of my Mono titles were warped.
I bought a stereo copy of Abbey Road when i was at the studio gift shop back in the summer!

 

I just checked Bullmoose, and it’s back in stock at $356. Any codes for Bullmoose? Do they ship free over a certain amount?

 

They usually ship free over $30.00 or so. I imagine that applies to the box. They don't have Coupon codes.

Send them an email and make sure they have some in the original shipping container, or find out how they will pack it to ship it. Generally store stock is unboxed, but they may have boxed stock in the warehouse/store.

 

I got my backup box from music direct last week for $330 but it is back up to $349 now. They offer free fedex shipping for orders over $100.

It comes in its own padded shipping carton.

 

It doesn't really, I've not see the individual titles in stock for the last year.

 

I hope you are keeping it in a different location to the main box.

You're lucky. My Raibo copies had the highest return rate ever: 50/50

 

My Optimal Box is superb, cannot say that for my Rainbo box.

Right, semantics. I should have said "the stock has dried up from my distributors."

 

Drove 40 minutes to the only Barnes & Noble that had one in stock. They held it for me and I’m filing my copy from the mono box and putting my new sealed copy in its place. Whether it increases in value, I’m happy to have one to pass down to my daughter.

The only one I can find is the new stereo Giles incarnation...no MONO. OOP! Darn! Couldn't score a Capitol stereo from 2014(?).

Glad I still have my original 1967 MONO vinyl...NM!!

 

Sorry for replying to an older post, but I worked in a grocery store for about four years and the Muzak "Foreground Music" channel really really loves some of those Anthology versions. Especially "I'm Looking Through You."

 

It sounds like people have been pleased with Acoustic Sounds' shipping? I found one I can pick up in town if I want to... for a mere $75 more than it would cost me from Acoustic Sounds. I've never ordered from them and am nervous about this one being perfect, so appreciate anyone who could set my mind at ease...

 

Well I just received one I ordered from Acoustic Sounds 3 days ago free shipping and came from Fed Ex delivered to my door.
It was sealed in the original shipping container with a couple of small dings on the corners but nothing that would make me think
anything inside would be damaged. I'm leaving it sealed for now.

Glad some Hoffmanites are able to still purchase 2014 SPLHCB mono vinyl.

 

I've had well over a hundred orders from Acoustic Sounds delivered over the years with no issues, including the mono box.
