keeping records sealed, that you want to hear and don't intend to sell, is where music fan stops and something else is going on

This is what is going on...
I look at them and occasionally even speak to them. Sometimes they respond. Sometimes they don't.
I ask them to make me food but they won't.
    I'm hungry.

The problem with sealed records is you don't know what's inside but then once you look it's too late!

APPLE are very fortunate that Beatles fans told them to do the Mono records AAA after the stereo box semi-fiasco.
We are fortunate that Apple read us and made our dream come true.

Yes, had I known that high quality AAA mono vinyl was coming in 2014, I might have re-thought my effort to track down NM copies of original 60s Parlophone LPs circa 2005-2012, spending a small fortune to find the right copies, sometimes having to buy multiples to get one that played as good as I wanted. It was a long and frustrating effort. And while I cherish those original pressings, I find that I now get more enjoyment from playing the mono box set. They are quieter, sound great, and I don't have to worry about adding wear to an expensive original. If I ever have to sell off the original pressings someday, I can live with just having the mono box.

I'm still glad I tracked down all of the original 45s, however. They still sound magical in a way that Mono Masters doesn't quite replicate. I'll probably hang onto those for the long run.

Thank you! I had $23 in Amazon trade in dollars, and the price dipped to $19.22 so approx. $18 out of pocket for both is a good deal to me!

Got my copy of the White Album 2014 mono and it sounds fantastic, like I said before this is my favorite Beatles LP and in mono it is that much better, looking forward to the 50th anniversary set, I know this is a Sgt. Peppers thread sorry but have you heard any news on the 50th White Album package .

I just grabbed seconds of mono Rubber Soul, Revolver, and White Album to use as trade bait in the future. It's my belief that they will be out of print and expensive soon.

My 2014 AAA Blue Album has still not shipped from Amazon after two weeks. It looks like stock is drying up for other online retailers as well.

Soundstagedirect.com lists it as "Awaiting Repress". Maybe QRP pressings will finally start to appear.

What set of masters did they use for these?

Is the Capitol stuff still used to make these? Or is that history?

I just did my weekly order and got rubber soul and the white album (saw revolver too) they had a whole box at least so perhaps they are between runs and this was the first batch of represses?

I'll be very surprised if the Mono's don't get repressed.
Has it ever been indicated they are limited edition?

I'm not sure all of them will be really expensive. These titles are still easily available for about 20 bucks per LP while Sgt. Pepper is at least 3-4 times as expensive.
