I believe that all of the mono vinyl was pressed at Optimal. The stereo vinyl was pressed either at Optimal or Rainbo, depending on whether you get a U.S. or EU set.

I got lucky. My stereo box has a sticker on the back that reads "Packaged in USA, records made in Germany". So apparently MV are sending out both U.S. and EU boxes.

Oh wow, so you both received the made in EU stereo box? Have my fingers crossed I get one! I'm pretty surprised though, since they told me they get their stock from the US.

Today I picked up my Wings Over America deluxe box set from my PO Box.

I just had another look at the way they addressed it and realized that Music Vault didn't address it properly. The format and the way I filled out the ship to address is as follows:

    My name
    My PO Box number
    The post office station name
City, State zip code+4 (the zip code is unique to this particular post office and the 4 digits that follows is my box number)

The way Music Vault addressed my package is like this:

    My name
    The post office station name
    City, State
    City, State, State, zip code+4

So they left off what would have been my street and building number if I didn't have it shipped to my Box. The zip code+4 was probably enough to get it shipped to the correct post office and identify me because of the 4 digits after the zip code. Also, I know some of the clerks there so they know who I am.

I was lucky but I'm really hoping that there aren't too many other customers they goofed up the address on.

Keep an eye on your tracking numbers, everyone! It might be a good idea to stop by your local post office and inquire about packages that will be returned due to insufficient address information.

Mines at the post office. Been working 10 days straight. Finally off. Going to go pick it up shortly.

That frickin' canadian store "MusicVaultz" didnt even put my full address on the package. Had only my name on the package and a zip code for the wrong part of town. Whats wrong with these morons?

Anyway, luckily it ended up at the post office.

I went to my post office a couple of days ago, but apparently it was too late. Now my tracking shows that my package was delivered to Scarborough, ON today. I'm sure this means that even if I can get them to send it back to me, it will get beat up by the postal service a second time. What are the odds that it's going to arrive unscathed? I'm pissed.

    Ok, well MusicVaultz did respond:

    "Hi there,

We're really sorry for the issue--unfortunately, we experienced a technical glitch with our labelling system that affected international orders. It's very frustrating and we completely understand your grievances.

Do you have the Order #? We can look into the Tracking Information to see where it stands.

    Best,
    Dylan, Team MusicVaultz"

Still, how do they not notice that a label has an incomplete addy on it? And why not just write it on the package?

But, Ill give them credit for at least responding.

My Beatles mono lp boxset is lovely. Flat pressings, quiet vinyl and of course very nice sounding. And for 155 bucks or so? Damn good deal.

You're not the only one going through this. Mine was out for delivery and now it just says "delivery status not updated." I've been unable to get ahold of it after trying a few times with USPS. I don't even know if it was mailed back to them or not.

If it eases your worries a bit, the packaging is pretty ingenius with foam and cardboard holding the box in the center. Nothing I've ordered has been damaged at all. I'm not saying it won't get damaged but the way it's packed direct from the factory is good.

I've had the same experience with their packaging. I can only hope it holds up this time.

Hopefully they have the glitch sorted out by now. I'm hoping my delay in shipping will result in no shipping issues.

Yep. The packaging is very good. a lot like the big Mozart box set. The outter box had a big gouge in it which initially had me worried. Then I opened it and saw how the box set was double boxed and the big sturdy foam protection and felt confident the contents would be intact. And they are.

Well, it looks like I could not contact my local post office in time this time around. My order of the BBC sessions 1 and 2 and LOVE were returned to sender. I contacted MusicVaultz in regards to this. Hopefully it is simply a matter of re-sending me my items with the mailing label issue sorted out. I also decided to contact them in regards to my order of the Mono box-set that is currently on backorder requesting that they please ensure that my mailing label is complete. As others have mentioned above, hopefully they have this issue sorted out before my Mono box-set ships.

My recent correspondence with Dylan at MusicVaultz has yielded the following information:

We did experience a technical glitch with our warehouse labeller that didn't include the whole address--we've since remedied the problem and all orders will contain all of the necessary label information.

Looks like all is well now for more recent orders!

Mine finally got here, my mailman knew I was looking for it and brought it first thing. Be proactive with the post office if it's still en route. Mine definitely did not have the street address on the shipping sticker like every one else's. Packed well, everything looks in perfect shape.

Deal of the century, thanks to this thread!

So glad I read this... having issues getting my 'Stones in Mono' box set based on the same issues. Spent all last night/this morning on phone with USPS international dept, my local USPS post office (who actually put my mail lady on the phone who swore up and down she never had the box to deliver... she's a real doll and was very upset that I may have thought the 'non delivery' was her fault) and the Canada Post... no one really knew what the hell was going on... at least now I do. I trust it will get sorted eventually.

Well, I got bit by the bad address. Went to the post office and they were zero help. Less than zero.

Anyway, are you able to track the package going back to Canada? My tracking number said it was sent back to sender on the 3rd. No additional update as to where it is now.

Try tracking the return via Canadian Post website, not USPS
