I have a rather cool cutout--that actually increases the value. Instead of cutting off a corner or punching a hole, Warner Bros used a brass eye-rivet stamped into the corner (not pictured). Looks pretty cool.

There were only two remaining Beau's on this classic LP. Sal Valentino and Ron Elliot. As a teen, Ron learned to play guitar listening to old country records -- he thought the rhythm and lead parts were played on one guitar, at the same time...so he learned how to do just that! A fantastic and underrated guitarist!

One of my favorite LP's, period.

If I'd get a dime for every time the description "masterpiece" is used on this board, I'd be rich by now. Talking about hyperboles... It is a good album, that I'll admit :)

Maybe, but when it applies, it is NOT hyperbole--often reviewed as such....so I'll be happy to send ya a dime for this one :tiphat:- frame it, for when you have made your first million...

Love the BBs. Everything expect the cringeworthy covers album is worth hearing. (Why did WBs sign them and promptly have them make a covers record when Ron Elliott was such a great songwriter? I'll never know.)

Especially after knowing they had some great songs up their sleeves. I still like a lot of their covers, but a '66 album with their own material finished would have been even better.

Preach! There's quite a number of tunes over their career that never got released, that I like as much as what did.

I'm okay with a little hyperbole. Albums like this or Gene Clark and the Gosdin Brothers should be just as recognized as other early country/rock albums being put out around this time. It is the Beau Brummels masterpiece, but then again... so is Triangle.

Andrew Sandoval has stated there is a deluxe Triangle that was finished, but the sales of the deluxe Bradley's Barn didn't sell well. Shame.

Twodawgzz But why do you ask such questions...

Bradley's Barn is very good, but IMO not as good as Triangle, which was groundbreaking for the Brummels and still a great album.

I think Bradley's Barn *smokes* Triangle, just an amazing record. Looking for a good vinyl copy at present, just have the Collector's Choice CD.

That's the one I meant. Don't know why I confused it for a Hip O. Hadn't had my coffee yet.
