Bert Jansch-Heartbreak reissue with live disc

On November 6, the world of Omnivore adds the great Bert Jansch to its roster with a beautiful reissue of his 1981 album Heartbreak. Long out of print, we’re bringing it back for its 30th Anniversary in grand style as a limited-edition clear vinyl LP (first pressing of 1,500, black thereafter), a HD digital album and a double CD/double digital album. The second disc in the 2-CD package contains the previously unissued Live At McCabe’s Guitar Shop, a full show from June, 1981.

 

Thanks for posting this; Heartbreak is something of a lost classic, and I'll be glad to replace my crackly 80s Hannibal pressing with a brand new pressing.

I once passed on this cd without realizing how rare it was because the green Ryko jewel case was cracked and the disc had a few scratches. Went back for it later and it was gone Nice to see it available again. Hope it's well done

Seems to be only available as an expensive import, this side of the pond. Is it going to go worldwide?

 

This is available at HDTracks in 24/96 format. A lovely album and a really nice mastering of it. It is definitely a product of the 80s which can be heard in the production, but not in a bad way.

The download does not have any live stuff, just the original album.
