anyone here have any opinion or experience with them?
and a bump
those look pretty exotic. Are they styrofoam 'pistons' driven by a voice coli driver? I have seen a couple of variations on that theme, never heard any, but was intrigued ... I can't have them, my cats would likely shred them quickly.
I see what looks like a nice LP in your avatar ... thought you played bass? maybe primarily ...
I wonder if anyone on the AA Speaker forum might have heard these?
thanks! it's a 1990 'limited colors edition' standard. amber. love it!!!
my old avatar was an SJ200. i do play bass in a rush cover band!
there's a pair of these on craigslist here in DFW. had never heard about them. they're freaking huge!
Wow, nice. I had a 1978 Deluxe in dark wine color, the previous owner had routed out the body a bit to put in some Duncan '59 zebras. Wish I still had that one! Sounded great. I sold it after several years of disuse ... altho I did buy my first tube stereo amp and some computer stuff with the proceeds.
Very cool! I am a pretty big Rush fan ... must be a total blast. I've learned some Rush licks and etc. over the years, but never played their songs in a band, except for an impromptu half-baked version of Limelight once at a office party jam ...
Sorry I couldn't be more help. I don't know anything about them. Hopefully someone will chime in here or on AA if you posted there ...?
