Au contraire mon ami!!! Which one of those gems is not a debut album.

(Not counting any Bee Gees Lp's that were only released in Australia and saw a broader release after they hit it big)

I don't believe that is correct. The Brothers Gibb released two albums in Australia prior to the International release of their Bee Gees 1st Lp. These two Lp's were only released in Australia and that is why I never considered either of them as their "debut" lp.

Any album released by the Bee Gees prior to their third album (Bee Gees 1st) are bona fide albums whether they were released only in Australia or not.

Solidly in my top 10 debut albums of all time, this 1-2 punch to start off the record sets the stage for a magical listening experience. I absolutely love this album.

    I'll go with PJ Harvey:
    1. Oh My Lover
    2. O Stella.
    And vote for Arcade Fire:
    1. Neighborhood #1
    2. Neighborhood #2
Both for the same reason - I'd never heard anything like that before, and I was hooked from the first listen.

Nugent is a whacko but his debut solo album has a couple of 1-2 beauties:

    Stranglehold
    Stormtroppin'
