Great call! How did this one slip my mind? My favorite Pixies song leading off my favorite Pixies alum with a perfect transition to a killer second song.

    Shalom, y’all!

Didn't see debut part and deleted it. Still one of my favorites.

Point taken. However because I did not live in Australia when the first two Lp's were released and never heard them ever - Bee Gees 1st Lp is their debut lp to me. Funny they didn't call it Bee Gees 3rd?

Don't worry... Looking at how many posters are unable to grasp the premise of the topic, you are most definitely NOT the only idiot here. :agree:

There's really no question for me: Led Zeppelin with Good Times, Bad Times and Babe I'm Gonna Leave You. I wish I were alive when that came out to hear that for the first time. What an opener.

As for the one I remember the most from when it first came out: Van Halen's debut as mentioned just above. Man, that grabbed me.

    Two modern ones:

Courtney Barnett - Elevator Operator / Pedestrian At Best
Alvvays - Adult Diversion / Archie, Marry Me

The Courtney Barnett one in particular is *superb*

I'll also throw in Crowded House - Mean To Me / World Where You Live, just to pick a fight with people who grew up in territories where they changed the sequencing. :D

I was gonna say that's not his debut album, but I guess technically it is, since it was his first solo album. Good one!
