Best 48" HD Television

Want to purchase new HD television.....which one has the best picture quality? Price is not important. 48"

 

I'd go for an LG Oled.

 

They don't come in 48" sizes...

 

As stated, money no object, space is limited...has to fit between my fire place, and deck door....

 

What is 'best' is somewhat subjective, as each technology has their strengths and weaknesses. If you get any TV that is of the latest generation, you won't be disappointed. Look for things like 4K, Wide Color Gamut (DCI-P3), High Dynamic Range (HDR-10, Dolby, Hybrid Log Gamma), low black levels, etc.

I would choose an OLED model myself, though they are still pricey. But your biggest problem is going to be finding one with such as small screen size. Pretty much all the latest gen TVs are >50", 55" being generally considered the smallest screen size (there may be some smaller sizes around, but the trend is for bigger sizes).
