I can't chose which was the "best" acquisition. I like them all, and they've all contributed to newfound enthusiasm for music - analog and digital!

Same here. Listening to SACD's is a blast! I'm now 99% analog and 1% thrilled with digits.

Schitt Mjolnir 2 for headphone listening. With the right tubes it is pretty fine.

I have their bigger brothers with a CMII and I can say with confidence the P3 / CM combo would be exceptional!

avanti1960. Now satisfied with the Sutherland? Feedback on the Ortofon if you will, please. I'm working on an order for a new deck myself.

It isn't new but I fixed up my Marantz 2220 today with a new power switch and it is like new. Used some Deoxit on the buttons and knobs which has no distortion turning the knobs or pushing the buttons. This is a great addition to the kids playroom since I spend more time in there than in my dedicated listening room.
Also this year I got myself an Ortofon 2M Blue for my turntable in January. I also bought a second pair of Elac B6 speakers for $180 free shipping from Amazon Warehouse. I really like the Elac Debut sound.

bhazen, I see you live in Newcastle. Where did you get the Harbeth's from, Hawthorne maybe?
    Rosewood P3's are Da Bomb!

As far as power, I was driving them with a 60wpc Levinson amp and they were beautiful.

I’m really hoping it’s the Schiit Yggdrasil I’ve just bought as it’s easily the most expensive component I’ve purchased. It’s certainly sounding pretty good already with just 24 hours on it, should come on song about weds by all accounts.

Hawthorne, indeed. I got my previous 'Beths from Stereotypes in Portland, before Hawthorne became a dealer (saving me a 300+ mile round trip!)

On the other side, it cost you 10% to skip the drive ;)
Honestly, I'm trying to arrange a visit to friend in the Portland area to coincide with some large A\V purchases to help justify the drive time and not be too hurried as in a 1-day tactical, surgical strike.

FWIW, I regretted not getting the rosewood finish when I bought my 1st set of Harbeths in 1980.
Quite a bit more $$$ back then but man are they gorgeous.

completely satisfied with the cadenza blue and 20/20. the cadenza is detailed, extended on each end, dynamic and ultra refined. the 20 / 20 took a while but it sounds so good. im at the mercy of the recording now whether the sound is good, really good or mind blowing. even old blue note recordings from the 50s sound alive and powerful. the refined neutrality of the vinyl system was a home run to counter an already lush sounding amp and speakers.

I upgraded the tonearm on my Vertere SG-1 turntable to an Acoustical Systems ‘Aquilar’ tonearm in Leica Silver. It is the single best sounding tonearm that I have ever ‘heard’ (not heard). Absolutely beautiful engineering.
