Best Song on Pink Floyd’s ‘Meddle’? Poll

What’s your favourite song on Meddle?

Echoes will win by a mile, but I’m interested in what will come after, so 2 otes allowed (don’t have to vote for Echoes though ofc).
My second choice is Fearless.

Has to be Echoes. A Floyd masterpiece.

 

One Of These Days. For that insanely catchy Doctor Who bass line.

 

You should have asked what the 2nd best song is then. And the answer is Fearless.

 

Nah, coz then it wouldn’t fit in with the rest, and because some people wouldn’t vote for Echoes, and some might not get it.

 

Voted for Echoes followed by One Of These Days. However, Meddle is near perfect as an album and the other tracks are indispensable to the overall experience. My favorite PF.

Honorable mention, for third place: A Pillow Of Winds.

 

As far as I'm concerned Fearless is the best track, and One of These Days is second. I don't even bother to play Echoes when I listen to this album, it holds no interest for me at all.

 

Agreed. I love every song on the album to bits, and like most if not all Floyd albums, it flows beautifully and every song is vital to the experience.

I'd love to choose Echoes but I love Fearless to much. A Pillow of Winds and One of These Days a close tie for 3rd.

Also I did the rest of the albums, so I’m not going to skip Meddle.

 

I agree with the comment above about voting for your second favorite (assuming Echos is your first).

My second favorite is One of These Days....second after Echoes of course.

Although I like the flow of the whole album, as a single peice.

 

No worries just having a little fun and I know there is always someone out there who will pick Lawrence Welk over Metallica as to who is the heaviest.
