Man Said and Little Willow won the 11th track poll. I'm sad for One of these Days, very close third and my own favorite. But what can I do, this is democracy.

The tracklist goes like this :

    Disc 1
    1- Band on the Run
    2- Take it Away
    3- Bluebird
    4- Dear Boy
    5- Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey
    6- Silly Love Songs
    7- Heart of the Country
    8- Wanderlust
    9- 1985
    10- Long Haired Lady
11- Listen to What the Man Said

    Disc 2
    1- Too Many People
    2- Jet
    3- Ram On
    4- Every Night
    5- Let Me Roll it
    6- Junk
    7- Too Much Rain
    8- Monkberry Moon Delight
    9- With a Little Luck
    10- Call Me Back Again
    11- Little Willow

Now, here come the twelves. No suspense about the two winners, I'm afraid. But in what order ?

This, I think, is a foregone conclusion. But I'm going for I Got Stung, Back in the Sunshine Again, The End of The End and, you know, that other one.

    Wait a minute!
Some Macca albums don't even HAVE a "track 12"!
    That makes this thread void!

The obvious 2 plus I Got Stung and The End Of The End.

I remain convinced that Maybe I'm Amazed is McCartney's greatest EVER song.

    I went with

    Maybe I'm Amazed
    Back Seat Of My Car
    Treat Her Gently/Lonely Old People
    Ebony And Ivory

Mabybe I'm Amazed is a no-brainner, just a great song, so different from the rest of the songs from the McCartney album, this is really the only one that feels "finished". Back Seat Of My Car may be my favorite McCartney song ever, including Beatles and solo work. Such a great melody, the lyrics are great, they capture the feeling of being young and in love and thinking you can do anything when you are with that person. Just a great song.

Treat Her Gently... is another favorite. To me it is the anti "When I'm 64", where that song is poppy and upbeat, Treat Her Gently/Lonely Old People takes a more realistic approach to getting older and the day to day life for some of those people. Really great song again, kinda sad as I know it won't win. And I went with Ebony And Ivory, after getting the TOW box and revisiting the song I've come to see that it isn't that bad of a song, the lyrics may be a bit cheesey but Paul's heart is in the right place. I know the music video is also pretty cheesey, but it was before my time so that never influenced my view of the song.

Some really strong tracks here, wish 3 songs could win!

    First 3 were easy...

    Maybe I'm Amazed
    Back Seat of My Car
    The End of the End

Tough call after that. 3 very nice songs that I enjoy, (Motor of Love, C'Mon People, Treat Her Gently/Lonely Old People) were my first contenders. But I just don't think they stood up with the first 3.

Then I leaned towards the excellent "Road" from New. Awesome track!

But in the end, I opted for an all-too-rare, ballsy rocker with his killer cover of "I Got Stung."
