This one might have "San Fernando Valley" written by Gordon Jenkins. Great song -- great performance.

One of the least expensive ASV's in the secondhand market as of right now. Order the $.69 copy and enjoy.

Thanks, it is still available new though at a higher price. The original suggested retail price was about double that so I guess the new copies are still cheaper.

Interesting to note earlier comments about Decca/Universal not making his catalogue more readily available. The response that he's just the guy who sang White Christmas nowadays is true (to younger generations anyway), and also he's a bit like the American equivalent of Vera Lynn - so highly prolific that it almost devalues what is available. He isn't hip or niche enough for Universal to take an interest, although I don't see why in 2017 they can't just make everything digitally available. He still has an active fan club I believe, and they kept the chronological CD series going, which was Public Domain so cheaper to issue.

Plus, he was outclassed by Sinatra when he came along. I wonder if Bing ever attempted a Capitol-style swing album like Sinatra.

I just picked this set up on eBay for a steal. I'm happy to read the positive feedback on sound quality.

This should be a welcome expansion of Bings music in my collection.

I bought it new and sealed a few weeks ago. Looks like a good package, the bits I've heard sound fine too. Interesting addendum to my previous comments - Universal have recently re-issued some more Bing albums on CD to coincide with the 40th anniversary of his passing last autumn.
