    Hi all

I recently took the plunge and ordered the complete reissues, and recieved 3 of the 7 this morning. After reading reading several threads regarding the packaging quality, I was happily surprised in that it was better than some of the quotes describing it as flimsy, I'm fine with the overall package.

The first album I opened was Medulla, I was then greeted with this,

The black streak is the whole way through the pressing, when held up to the light. I've been in contact with the supplier and a replacement is going to be sent out. Thankfully all the other pressing are ok.

Is it audible? Looks like it is well below the grooves and is probably only a stray bit of ink. If so, then I wouldn`t see any reason to warrant a replacement imo.

To each their own but I would keep that too (as long as it sounds fine)

That thing is not audible, more like an annoyance visually.

You want to return it because theres a black streak in it?
Is that your first piece of colored vinyl? That happens all the time.

Could be resold for $$$$$ in 10 years as "rare black streak pressing". I would definitely keep any colour variation that's embedded in the wax and doesn't sound.

    That's not a fault!!!

If you are going to return a record for that I suggest you stick to black vinyl.....or cd's!

I agree, would keep this for sure. I love that it's different and I'd bet it's not audible.

In my experience, colored vinyl without some sort of streaks or marbling is the exception rather than the rule.
