That would have been amazing. Having a legend like Frampton sit in for a few.

Pull out some Pie records and just maybe that will change. Start with Rock On.

I have, and like, the Pie records, but still can't shake the feeling of him being an unlikely guest. And I realise Chris, in particular, loves them.

Frampton just moved from Cincinnati to Nashville, so it makes sense. There were fliers on all the seats promoting Frampton's upcoming show at the Ryman.

I heard a rumor of Willie Nelson, Leon Russell, and Sheryl Crowe for tonight. We'll see.

The Frampton bit was awesome. One of the better Crowes shows I've seen. Not that long, but it didn't drag either. And the Stones encore was brilliant. Fun night. Kinda wish I was going tonight, but two hours of an acoustic set seems a bit much to me.

apparently they dropped Peace Anyway from the list and replaced Torn & Frayed with Happy .

in general I don´t mind guest appearances at Crowes shows but was quite happy that Jimmy Page didn´t show up at the London shows.

they also played "My Heart Is Killing Me" at soundcheck and Joan Osbourne has also been mentioned as a possible guest.

1 or 2 Mad Dogs and Englishmen songs with Leon Russel would be awesome btw.

Apparently tonight's acoustic gig included a cover of "The Night They Drove Ol' Dixie Down" with Old Crow Medicine Show.

Got to meet Jackie Greene after the show as well. A very cool guy, willing to take pictures and talk with anyone and everyone after the show out back...

So were the 'girls' singing last night then? Looks that way from the above. And a solo song from their each brother's solo catalogue.

Hope both nights do. Only went to Saturday, but I'd buy both nights if they show up.

The 2010 Nashville show was part of 3 weeks mysteriously 'skipped' on liveblackcrowes.com. Still miffed about that.

And so much for the haters over on the Crowes board wittering on about greatest hits set lists. That's quite a challenging opening salvo for the casual fan.

There´s a handful of immature haters on the board who aren´t going to stop ruining peoples buzz as long as the Crowes play a song that once got airplay.

and to be fair even this surprisingly Three Snakes filled setlist does contain 11 songs that were released as a single.
