Well let's watch this tomorrow. It will show eBay's receptiveness to piracy. Honestly though, there ARE CDRS you can buy that look silver on both sides, and you can easilly pass them off as "glass manufactured".

Except the lot numbers printed on the hub. OOPS!

These are actually pretty common auctions on ebay. If you run a search with items and descriptions and any 70s artist, you'll find several of these listings. ebay is obviously happy to look the other way, as their inclination is protect sellers. Meanwhile, the RIAA is suing people for downloading a few tracks for personal use...

No compact disc logo, no label, no inner spindle numbers, and no stock number.

Heeheehee...gladly! :D Did you check out that VeRO page I sent a link for?

I didn't look at the auction yet (I'm leaving in a few minutes), but if just ONE of those tracks is from a label listed under the VeRO section, and the RIAA is also contacted AND the seller is reported to eBay, it'll be hard to let the auctions continue.

Yeah, let's nail him. If I remember I'll look at them later and file complaints myself. Maybe if more than one of us reports it, they'll get the message.

I'm never against anyone making a buck. If he were selling public domain music, no problem. But if it's unlicensed, and some poor bueyr gets stuck with sub-par merchandise, I'd rather protect the buyer.

I'm amazed that the seller has predominately positive feedback!!! Maybe his/her eBay customers don't no any better, or don't care to know any better.

This one was funny (for unsuspecting morons):

DOMAIN NAMES FOR AS LITTLE AS $15

As little as? I won't tell him about the "sale" at GoDaddy where I got a few .us domains for $4.95/year. :D Whoops! Looks like they're still on sale, and .com available for $7.95/year. Yummy. ;)
