Okay, now that I'm three episodes in, any reservations I had about Better Call Saul have been fully eliminated.

I think Bob Odenkirk is doing a fantastic job acting, the writing is top notch, it's a great, great show.

Hahah . Wtf is his brothers problem?

  5. Tin foil hat.

EMF and RFI sensitivity, real or imagined.

That said, I was sceptical after the first two episodes (though they were good), but now we're reaching close to greatness: a show that's really hitting stride.

    I should not have doubted.

Another great episode last night. Once again, another "must see" show for me for the duration.
I was thinking about it last night. He has some type of mental illness. Delusional Disorder of some kind. He thinks electronics and/or electrical devices affect him somehow. I was waiting for him to put the tin foil hat on before he went over to get the newspaper.

I was thinking $35k. Looked like stacks of $5k each.
Either way, he made out alright

References to Spartacus and The Thing, but was there an actual movie quote like in the other shows?

The first two stacks were calculated at around $19,500, but the other additions seemed lower, or he was "declaring" less on those. But yeah, enough to get a nice suit and some pampering.

Surely, that's not "copyright infringement" so much as "trademark infringement", no?

Considering it was a setup/development episode, it again was great. It's the only show my wife and I watch live (instead of dvr or Netflix)

As I mentioned above, it's a delusion that he has. Yes, it's all in his head.

    He has mental illness?

  21. Deesky

I think it's a form of mental illness, especially given how debilitating the effects appear to be, where he cannot even function in the real world. Therefore, given that his symptoms aren't a product of any 'real' condition (it's all in his head), then the logical conclusion is that he must be suffering a form of mental illness, and which may have been triggered by some as yet unknown traumatic event. I'm sure this will be explored over the course of the show.

I described it twice above. It's called a delusional disorder. People with delusions think that things that occur in their lives are something that they really aren't, i.e. delusions.

Seeing that he doesn't even merit a mention in BB, my guess it it's not going to end well for Lenny.

Being delusional to the point of being non-functional in the real world is not a mental illness?

You still don't understand. But that's OK. A delusional disorder is true mental illness. I brought that up this morning.

I wonder if Jimmy/Saul (at this point) will get him therapy or treatment. I kind of doubt if his brother makes it past this season.
