Four Brian Eno albums are being reissued as 2CD sets:

Nerve Net--now includes the unreleased "My Squelchy Life" album on Disc 2
The Shutov Assembly--seven unreleased tracks recorded 85-90 on Disc 2
Neroli--hour-long unreleased ambient track on Disc 2
The Drop--9 bonus tracks on Disc 2, alternate mixes and material from a limited edition (1000 copies) art installation soundtrack

My Squelchy Life on this reissue doesn't include "Step Up My Boys". What's the deal with this track anyway? Some track lists that I've seen for the cancelled MSL include it, others don't.

Looks like all of them except Neroli will also be on vinyl.

Interestingly, the Drop reissue skips the 2 tracks from the bonus disc of the Japanese edition, "Slicing System" and "Sharply Cornered." Unless these end up on a different reissue, these tracks might remain hard-to-find.

See my post right above yours. Anyway, these two tracks are on the 2005 reissue, which isn't hard to find. It's the Japan-exclusive track "Swat and Rut" that isn't easily available.

On my copy it is combined with Everybody's Mother, probably the same on this one.

But unfortunately the vinyl doesn't have the other 9 bonus tracks.:(

On closer inspection, it looks like none of the bonus material is on the vinyl editions.

The first track on My Squelchy Life, "I Fall Up," was a b-side on the "Ali Click" CD single back in the day. I wonder if the version on this new CD will be different?

I wonder if the inclusion of 77 Million as a bonus disc on The Drop indicates that all of these tracks were recorded around the same time. I'm sure someone on this forum knows more about this.

Is the vinyl download card lossless or mp3?

"I Fall Up" on My Squelchy Life is the same per se as the b-side on the "Ali Click" CD single but the b-side version runs slightly longer than the MSL version...or at least on my old 'preview' copy of MSL.

My concern about ALL of these reissues is the potential remastering. The only Eno remaster from All Saints that I picked up before was Eno & Cale's Wrong Way Up. The revisionist EQ'ing was so piercing that I immediately got rid of it. And I'm someone who can normally hold onto a poor remaster in order to keep any bonus material. There was nowhere near the same amount of care as the 2004 remasters of the Eno releases on E'G. Would anyone else who picked up some of the prior All Saints remasters of Nerve Net or Shutov Assembly care to comment on those?

Other than this, I am excited as hell to hear this bonus material.

The video soundtrack (80 min.) is a different program of the material than the CD issue is. I like the video soundtrack better in fact.

These are exciting reissues. Just curious on a couple things. Will the version of "Under" on My Squelch Life be identical to the version that appears on Another Day on Earth? Also, if Thursday Afternoon and Neroli are Thinking Music parts 1 & 4, respectively- what are considered Thinking Music parts 2 & 3?

I'm in for the Nerve Net/Squelchy set for sure, the others maybe one day if I find them *really* cheap. Now if they have enough unissued stuff to put together a 2cd of Wrong Way Up I'd be very interested!

Is My Squelchy Life an improvement on Nerve Net? While it had its moments, I regard it as an average Eno album.

How can something be so close to nothing and yet be so great. I don't know, but Neroli does that for me.

I picked it up years ago but I am glad that it is being re-released.
