6-CD set is $59 at Music Direct with their 20% off sale for Memorial Day.

Well I must have been smoking something.....not really.........because the JPN box is a fold down as well. It has an indent so easier to lift. Each sleeve has a poly liner too. Does the UK release have the poly liners sleeves for the CD's as well? Let me know. Thx!

The UK release just has card sleeves.

I'm not buyin', unless the actual box unfolds into an installation...:)

  9. Same here. I had to go for it! - Just one box (no need to be a hog). Aug 30 to Oct 2 is the projected space for delivery.

    Indeed …fingers crossed.:)

I don't know what I was thinking. :bigeek:

My copy arrived today. I bought the cheaper CD option. From all the pictures I'd seen of it, I was thinking it was going to be a 10 X 10 box, imagine my surprise when the diminutive little box was handed to me.

Not complaining at all, the box looks nice enough, and the cheapo card sleeves will do the job. The booklet is gorgeous. It was just a little jolt I'll recover from.

  12. yeah, I thought the same, because of the pictures where they show it arrayed

and it seems that the music itself could have been probably contained on less than 6 cds

but overall a real nice set that is fast becoming hard to find/get (at least in the US).

    Already???

  14. Yes
Check around you may be ok in Europe
But it is not available readily in US

Is it supposed to be a limited release?

I got the Japanese version as that has one extra track each on discs 5 and 6. Perhaps that is still available. Or I am willing to sell my European copy for an advantageous price. Perfect condition. PM me if interested.

Why do they always have to do this? So annoying to find out later there is stuff missing from the non-JP editions.

It is very annoying, especially nowadays when some things go out of print quickly. It used to be that I could wait and see if there were Japan bonuses and buy later. But with these limited edition cult-artist items, it gets tricky.

Especially to those who shelled out big bucks for the plexiglass edition to now find it's incomplete.

I can't believe this is getting hard to find - I don't recall a mention that it was a limited edition. I was aware of the extra tracks on the Japanese version, but it also cost considerably more than I paid. Given the nature of these pieces, I wasn't swayed the extra bits would be essential (I'm sure they're nice, mind you).

It's readily available at Amazon.co.uk at the moment.

The way I see it, not being a completist with Eno does better to your general mental health.

Whenever I start to consider that option, I’ll pull an Oblique Strategies card to dissuade myself.

At this point in time, I would expect any multi-disc Eno set to be a limited edition by definition.

Got mine from CDJapan this past weekend and am really enjoying it. One question though. I read a review on Discogs where it was stated that this set comes with a download voucher. Can anyone confirm this? I don't see one in my set.
