Brightness?

    Especially on drums - I used to crank the 12kHz on the snare, kick and toms for that extra "edge" and now when I listen to my old mixes I cringe. The funny thing is I've recently started making CDRs of my "mellower" rough mixes from the same sessions and I like them a lot better :laugh:
