  2. Her looks are (or were? I haven't exactly been following her) the only thing that's good about her.
She wouldn't be this huge star or one at all without them.
    Her music is disposable.
She would not be rich in a just world.
46 millions dollars it just said online. 46 million. For WHAT?!?

Great pop singles artist. Certainly more worthy than some of the classic-rock sacred cows who get worshiped here.

She's good looking but I never thought of her as smoking hot. I'm more into brunettes and red heads myself :)

I'm guessing like my Madonna and Duran Duran collections. Let's just say the wardrobe I used to use for clothes now houses them exclusively.

I once forced myself to listen to her first album the whole way through.

Never have I had to struggle to keep myself awake while listening to a pop record. it's that stale.

Probably my favorite song performed by her is "Toxic" and the Mark Ronson version is 1,000,000,000x better.

I love me some bubble gum pop but I never got into her. (She doesn't 'drive me crazy' but I voted 'nay'.)

Agree on Britney in this case, although Eagle-Eye Cherry wasn't bad either. The rest is quite forgettable.

I think that Madonna and Britney are very different people. I think that Madonna was and still is very in control of her own career, e.g. Madonna selected most of the producers she wanted to work with herself.

She made a lot more albums than Britney and was much more relevant that Britney will ever be. I like many Madonna singles, and I think most of her albums have their moments, and some are even great. My favourites are Ray Of Light, Confessions On A Dance Floor and Like A Virgin (in that order).

While Britney had some very nice singles that I like, I don't see her as an album artist. I also think her (producers') sound was only influential a couple of years in the late 90's and early 00's, while Madonna's sound was quite relevant from her first album (remember Holiday, Lucky Star and Borderline?) until Confessions.

Made it to the end. There are Beatles and Pink Floyd threads with lesser posts on this forum.

Britney must be more relevant than I thought before. :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:
