Um, no. I was 15 when her first album was released and loved it, as did a large number of my friends/peers. Her first four albums were huge and the kids were buying them just as much as the adults.

 

Y'all are making me want to listen to Britney.

Although to be fair, I did say I liked Blackout and Circus.

 

I'm sure it's generational but I don't know a single person who has a Britney Spears album.
Even my three sons now aged 21 to 30 never had one.
I might have a niece or two that were fans.

I did see Richard Thompson at one of his "1000 Years of Music" shows cover this one ... it's as close as I got to young Ms Spears.

 

It's a litmus test to see if your male children are gay.

 

Have you asked all of them?

 

3 and "Hold it Against Me" are my favorite tracks from Ms. Spears; she slays on these tracks and they're extremely melodic.

I love them both! Especially 'Hold It Against Me'. The forgotten number 1 single. She hasn't performed it since 2011.

 

It's so good. And I think of Groucho Marx every time **** hits the chorus

And the Bellamy Brothers tried to sue Britney.


My only complaint is that the main vocals are too buried in background vocals.
