This is a great show the "Sandy" on here I think was used for the live 75-85 album and is my favorite rendition of one of my favorite songs.

plus of course merry xmas baby

One of the first bootlegs I got back in 2001. One hell of a great show!

How does this show sound? I was pretty disappointed with the sound of the 1978 concert CD.

Amazing how he is releasing another show so soon after the '75 concert. Great news nevertheless.

Downloaded the 24bit version. Listening now on my hifi, sounding good. Raw and very live sounding, good instrument separation.

I can't wait to get home to download the HD files!! This is amazing, bootleg prayers are being answered by Springsteen's camp for sure.

Holy cripes! Does "Held Up Without A Gun" sound better than the subpar tape they used on The Essential Bruce Springsteen?

Even years ago when I was just getting into Springsteen through a friend that's a huge fan, you always heard that this was THE concert. Possibly his best ever, and one of the best by anyone, anywhere. Especially living on Long Island, 12/21/1980 was this epic, mythic concert.

Holy crap, that is a long concert. It is amazing that after all these years of doing these kinds of show he can even speak. Now I am going to have to go get this and the other shows.

Any Dynamics or the typical squashed modern Spingsteen mastering [and mixing!]?

Here is a case in which a waveform would help me personally decide whether to purchase, but many whiners now seem determined to prevent anything that resembles actual data. Still hoping someone will post a waveform or 2 say to Badlands and another track - please.

As an iTunes / iPhone user, what's better FLAC or ALAC? Can either/both be converted well to MP3, WAV, etc.?

ALAC is the way to go. No conversion necessary to get into itunes. You can then transfer to your iphone as ALAC or if you set the automatic downconversion, it will create a lossy file on the fly when transferring to the phone.
