I inherited a copy of Buffalo Springfield's "Again" LP mono. It looks to be an original according to the matrix numbers:
    (Side 1): C-12651-C LW AT
    (Side 2): C-12652-C AT LW

However the back cover looks to be a mono paste on with a Stereo wraparound from the front. Here is a pic:

I don't see anything about this on Discogs or other sites...

anyone know what this pressing might be or if this happened to many copies?

    Thanks

Very common for this title. Ahmet or one of his capos just let the troops know to be thrifty, and use up whatever slicks were on hand so they didn't have to print new ones . These were used interchangeably Mono and stereo well into the 70s without regard for the actual pressing inside. No value or interest in it, just an oddity.

That's normal. The slicks were oversized and printed with STEREO at the top and MONO at the bottom. They simply positioned the front slick appropriately for STEREO or MONO and wrapped the top and bottom edges around the back and stuck on the back slick. Sometimes, as on your copy, some of the STEREO or MONO peeks out from under the back slick.
