I've always liked this English firm's style. Auditioned their SS equipment many years ago but never bought any.

Now, since I am a few interconnects 'short', I was wondering about the quality of their interconnects. Has anyone ever auditioned them?

They have (from the economy model to the top of the line):

    Atlantic
    Pearl
    Arctic
    Pacific
    Studio Reference
    Silver Spirit 40
    Silver Spirit 60

Please note, this company has nothing to do with Cambridge Audio in the Boston MA area!

Any comments will be appreciated. Thanks!

Got a pair of CA Pacific interconnects between my CD and amp. They sound great for the price (about 45 USD), in particular the bass was much more tighter and focused than the other similarily priced interconnects I auditioned. I got mine here http://www.richersounds.com

    Yes?

Ever try to find silver streaks? Pretty hard. The place where they charge $940.00 / meter, I will not shop at - how can I afford THAT? Eeeech! Know now many interconnets you need for 5.1? 5 million. ;)

    And Cambridges are pretty cheap.....

I don't really know. They don't have silver streaks in their book / listing. I tell then that I believe they are a copper / silver combo. They look it up and say.... "$940.00 per meter plus ends". I say "Thank you very much, see ya!".

I am in the process of checking out other dealers.....

Gary I reckon that dealer didn't know their ear from their elbow :D I think Silver Streak lists at US$240 per metre (single ended) - maybe they wrap it up in a very nice box where you were :)

    All the best - Andrew

Yeah, they're just tryin' to sell you the KS-1020's  Andrew has the price correct according to what I know. If they deal in Kimber they should have access, if not it's not like they're the only dealer in the country.

Well, maybe. I just think the store was veddy, veddy high end. The low end TT is the VIP Scout or an Oracle (not sure of the model). They are getting some cheap Kimber power cords at $200. - $300. each as opposed to the usual ones they sell at thousands each!

Actually that's not really true - the DO sell NAD as their low end stuff.

Definitely gonna shop other places - no packaging please! I'll bring my own grocery bag to carry them home! :D

Gary, actually you can probably pick up the pretty black air-tight industrial-grade plastic boxes at A&B Sound as not all of their customers who buy the KS series take the box that comes with them so they sometimes have more than they need. Then you can bring your own pretty box to carry your own $240.00 SS in. Heck, I'd be willing to bet that they'd even sound better then by being escorted out of the store in a dignified cables box!
