Cambridge Audio Stream Magic 6 V2

I have just got a Cambridge Audio Magic 6 V2 network player. I am having trouble playing my FLAC files from my Windows 8 computer. I can play FLAC fine from Samsung S5 phone via the home network but not from my computer. why is this??

 

I'm looking at one of these also. Is it easy to set up?

 

I'd check the audio output settings, etc on the PC. I just sold one of these yesterday but have yet to try one myself. The bane of computer audio is the computer, so I'd start there. You might of course read the instructions. I'd check the Cambridge site and see if they have a user forum or a help menu with FAQ, etc if you don't find an obvious solution.

Yes very easy to set up. Sounds fab as well just can't get FLAC from the computer apart from that I'm very pleased with it.
