I just went back to the Amazon page and some posted a very good point- the description says color- can anyone confirm that Amazon made a mistake and it really is B/W-I hope they are not colorizing these,that would be a travesty. look under format:

It wasn't just that they were "too old" -- it's that, while they had the correct seasonal uniforms this time around, they were the seasonal uniforms from back in the day when they first tried the robbery...in other words, Keystone Kop outfits being worn during the early '60s.

 

its a mistake, all black and white...

 

its also Region 0, not region 1, so anyone around the world can order it.

Yeah, not having the episodes in order is kind of a drag...but I certainly won't look this gift horse in the mouth. I've waited forever to have the complete run of Car 54 on DVD!

I'm thrilled to have this, but I would have preferred to have them in order.

 

Me too- there's no reason for the episodes not to be in order of air date.

 

...still...we are extremely fortunate to have this on DVD! can't wait for season 2.

 

My set was there when I got home last night, but it was too late to watch it. I look forward to watching some of it tonight.

 

Oh yeah- I mean as long as the episodes are unedited; I'm a happy guy. I havn't seen the show since it aired on Nick At Nite in the 80's.

 

I remember the first run as a kid in the early 60's..loved it back then.
