This would be really good news if they aired all of their shows uncut with the original music.

I think there's never been a problem with music rights in syndication; it's home video and downloads that are the problem, since neither existed in the 1950s or 1960s. It was an afterthought even in the 1970s.

Tampa's WTOG, a CBS-owned CW affiliate, has added DECADES to its 44.2 subchannel. I've watched a few old DARK SHADOWS episodes today, and though the daytime soap was only 21 minutes long to begin with, there's no need for editing, and all looked intact. The signal is squeezed horizontally to allow the TV owner to unstretch it to FULL.

Looks like a whole bunch of "Twilight Zone" episodes this weekend.

Love many of the shows they are airing, but are they seriously going to be showing all of these non-stop, from first to last episode, all the time? Can't say I would be a fan of that at all.

No. They will air themed episodes of shows based on their theme of the day. That will serve for Monday through Friday. On weekends they'll do the Binge thing.

I saw a bunch of Mission: Impossibles about a month ago. The clarity was incredible!

Much of the CBS library of shows has been transferred in HD. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE is one of them. They're in HD on Netflix, and he plain-old DVDs look great.

  15. Is this by chance available in the Washington DC area?

Not seeing any recent lineup changes on our Comcast cable box, but with like 900 channels (some of which we get, and many not), it's hard to tell.

If you're close enough to Baltimore to receive over-the-air signals, then use an antenna and look for it on WJZ, channel 13.2.
